The entrance is large and beamed and arranged as a sitting room. Off the entrance to the left is a door to a large study with a table, book shelves and divan. This room has a frescoed ceiling. Through this room you access a large bedroom with a double bed, a fireplace and a very special painted wood ceiling. From this room you access a corridor off which are 2 bathrooms: one with a tub and the other with a shower. Through the corridor is another twin bedroom with canal views. Through the other door to this 2nd bedroom you access the sitting room making both bedrooms independent. From the right hand part of the sitting room you access a fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table and on the other side of the kitchen is another sitting room with a desk and access to the balcony/terrace. There is also access to a mezzanine with a bathroom and double bedroom from a small wood stair case in the sitting room. The large balcony is at the top of the first stairs and is u shaped. Although this building is 16th Century, parts of it date back to the 11th Century. The furniture comprises a mix of new with many old pieces. There is a telephone and TV in the apartment. Sleeps up to 6 persons having 3 double bedrooms.
